Lido swim sessions

Dive into the Fun at Our Lido Swim Sessions! On selected dates throughout the year, UWC Atlantic College opens up its pools to the public for refreshing lido swim sessions. Indoor and outdoor pool hire

The indoor pool at UWC Atlantic is located near the seafront of St Donat’s Castle and is 20 metres in length x 8 metres wide with 4 lanes. At its deepest point, the pool is 2.2 metres with a narrow shallow area of 1.1m.

UWC Atlantic also has an outdoor pool measuring 25 metres in length and 5 lanes. At its deepest point, the pool is 2.2 metres with a narrow shallow area of 1.1m.  The outdoor pool is not heated therefore it is a great facility for cold water dipping.

The pools are fully equipped with lane ropes, changing rooms (indoor and outdoor) and toilets, and can be hired to licensed swimming clubs, lessons and organisations.

Swimming Pool Hire Rates 2024-2025

• Indoor swimming pool hire* | from £50.00 + VAT per hour (minimum 2 hours)
• Lifeguard hire of pool | from £145.00 – £200 + VAT per hour – available on request

* You must provide your PL insurance, risk management documentation, including supervision provisions and lifeguarding qualifications to hire the pool without lifeguard hire. You must also complete a pool induction.

Pool Party Packages

Looking for a unique way to celebrate a birthday? Host your next party with an exclusive pool hire! Our party packages are available on Saturdays for children aged 8+ and include 45-minutes exclusive hire of the indoor pool at UWC Atlantic before continuing the celebrations for 1-hour in our private party room.

Swim Heroes is run by Carl Marsh – a medically discharged army soldier who is a qualified ASA swimming teacher, level 2 instructor.
