Our spectacular 12th-century castle, grounds and seafront location make this the perfect film setting experience for any production company.
We’ve had some great filming productions here, including Dr Who, Wolf Hall, His Dark Materials and The Spanish Princess, as well as films and commercials. So tell us what you want. Go on, shoot.
We know that from a filming location, you need an efficient and action-orientated front-of-house team (as well as a stunning backdrop) – people who understand what you need and who can offer you quick solutions and supply everything you need for a successful shoot.
We know that you want a team who’s experienced in dealing with film shoots; and who understand the practicalities and logistics that go into filming.
We know you may need to film at difficult times, so we’re on hand 24/7 if you need us to be.
We know you need lots of car parking for some very big vehicles! And we know you need quick and easy transport links to be able to get here.
As a private school we can offer a private venue with indoor and outdoor spaces with service roads that can be perfect for shooting street scenes.

“St Donats Castle is a gem of a location for any production. The team at UWC Atlantic made our production really feel welcomed, nothing is a problem and if there are any issues they as a team will find a solution.
The location has a vast number of areas that could be used for any period or contemporary production; it even has a wonderful small church on site as well as a beach, swimming pool, open fields and woodland. Unit parking, and servicing is fabulous and the site is great as far as privacy and security concerns. Access from the M4 is so easy and plenty of accommodation options in nearby towns.
This is my 35th year as a freelance location manager and I can honestly say St Donats is definitely one of my favourite locations.”
