If you ask someone in the local community if they have ever been to UWC Atlantic, we don’t doubt many will say they used to swim in the pool when they were young.

The indoor pool at UWC Atlantic is located near the seafront and is 20 metres in length x 8 metres wide with 4 lanes. At its deepest point, the pool is 2.2 metres with a narrow shallow area of 1.1m.

Additionally, UWC Atlantic also has an outdoor pool, measuring 25 metres in length and has 5 lanes. At its deepest point, the pool is 2.2 metres with a narrow shallow area of 1.1m.  The outdoor pool is not heated therefore it is a great facility for cold water dipping.

The pools are fully equipped with lane ropes, changing rooms (indoor and outdoor) and toilets, and can be hired out to licensed swimming clubs, lessons and organisations.

• Indoor swimming pool hire* | from £50.00 + VAT per hour (minimum 2 hours)
• Lifeguard hire of pool | from £145.00 + VAT per hour – available on request
• For birthday parties, we can also offer 1 hour complimentary use of a private room (max 30)

* You must provide your PL insurance, risk management documentation, including supervision provisions and lifeguarding qualifications to hire the pool without lifeguard hire.
