Experiential Summer Programme
2026 Summer Courses – Available to Book
Young people aged 12 to 17 will have the opportunity to experience life at a United World College this summer through a range of international education programmes at UWC Atlantic.
During the summer months, the UWC Atlantic campus becomes a hub of activity, welcoming students from around the world to take part in courses that combine action-based learning with outdoor adventure. The programmes are led by experienced practitioners across a variety of sectors and are designed to give participants a first-hand experience of the UWC educational ethos. On average, around 10% of summer programme participants went on to apply, or expressed an intention to apply, to study at a UWC college.
In addition to offering unique educational experiences, the summer programmes contribute to the college’s financial sustainability. A number of courses also provide scholarship support to help make participation more accessible. UWC Atlantic also hosts mission-aligned summer schools run by partner organisations, providing its campus as a venue for wider educational initiatives.
