Fixed-term job opportunities include:

Activity Leader

Once formal training has been completed you will be expected to:

  • Plan, lead and deliver the range of activities
  • Take responsibility for maintaining and cleaning activity resources, facilities and equipment
  • Support the general operations of UWC Atlantic Experience

Dates of fixed-term contract are Monday 3rd March – Friday 22nd August 2025 inclusive. Rotas of work will be devised on a weekly basis and will include working evenings and weekends on a regular basis; it is expected that there will be around 30-50 hours of work most weeks.

The rate of pay is £12.60ph (real living wage).

Optional accommodation is available and charged at £30 per week for a shared dorm room. This includes wifi, shared bathrooms, electricity, heating, kitchen, dining area and lounge.

Residential Supervisor

Once formal training has been completed, you will be expected to:

  • Lead on the supervision of a participant’s residential house during the day and through the night
  • Provide pastoral support to residents
  • Act as the link between programme staff and participants

Dates of fixed term contract are: Monday 14th July – Saturday 16th August inclusive.

The shifts are split into day and night shifts. It is expected that there is an even mix of both roles during your time. Hours of work are 4 days of training (9am-5pm), 13 days and 13 nights (over 4 weeks).

The rate of pay is £12.60 p/h for hours worked between 06:00 and 00:00. A night allowance is paid for sleep in hours between 00:00-06:00.

Accommodation is provided in a shared dorm room in the participant’s house. This includes wifi, shared bathrooms, electricity, heating, and access to the participant kitchens and lounges. There are designated areas on the campus that are ‘Staff Only’ areas for taking breaks or during your free time.
